Financial Analytics Minor

The Financial Analytics minor prepares students with skills in the growing field of FinTech. Students will learn business analytics and database management tools as well as a new software Python and financial application using the software. The minor is available for students majoring in Finance, Economics and non-business fields – such as Mathematics and Computer Science.

  • BUAN 302 Introduction to Database Management
  • BUAN 301 Introduction to Python
  • BUAN/FN 402 Financial Application using Programing (Python)

Special Instructions

  • AC 221 can be waived as pre-req for FN 215 for qualified non-business majors
  • BUAN 302 Introduction to Database Management can be replaced by CS 311
  • BUAN 301 Introduction to Python can be replaced by CS 111
