Eunsup "Daniel" Shim, Ph.D.
Dr. Shim is a Professor and current Chair of Accounting & Information Systems. His research interests include Corporate Governance, CEO Compensation, Corporate Performance Measurement Systems, Strategic Cost Management, Mark-to-Market Accounting and International Accounting. Dr. Shim published over thirty articles in professional and academic journals. In addition, he presented numerous papers at national and international conferences and served professional and academic organizations and journals as a discussant, a reviewer, and a chair. He also served as the Director of Research for 8 years at Jack Welch College of Business, Sacred Heart University and the Dean of School of Technology Management at UNIST (Ulsan National Institute of Science & Technology), Ulsan Korea.
Dr. Shim has been serving weekend Korean School in US over 30 years and is currently principal of Manhattan Korean School, New York, NY. He is current President of Korean American World Forum, New York. He edited and contributed a book titled, “The Korean American Journey." He has served as a vice president, General Secretary and Treasury and the chair of History and Culture Committee of the National Association for Korean Schools (NAKS).

Ph.D. and MBA from Rutgers University
He teaches MBA and upper level undergraduate accounting courses including Cost Management, Advanced Management Accounting, Controllership and Budgeting, and Accounting for Decision Making and Control. He is also actively teaching at Luxembourg MBA courses and has delivered many technology-based courses including videoconferencing courses and Online Blackboard courses.
