The second edition of the SHU Digital Marketing Evening will feature a panel of local practitioners who will share their experience in the field. The panelists will cover skills needed and details from their respective areas in digital marketing. The Greater NYC/Fairfield County area still has a shortage of needed talent in this field.

Courtney Wienslaw, Managing Partner, AllPointsDigital (Norwalk)
Innovative marketing entrepreneur, educator, and mentor, Courtney Wienslaw is an expert in social media and digital marketing in the industries of healthcare, tech, health & fitness, retail, cosmetics, real estate, and nonprofit. Courtney has a proven track record of delivering measurable results such as enhanced brand awareness, improved search engine optimization, and increased website traffic and sales. She is skilled at recognizing opportunities for brands, developing strategic plans of action, and cross-functionally managing projects with multiple teams to achieve business objectives. Courtney has earned Master of Arts degree with distinction in Cross-Cultural Communication and International Marketing from Newcastle University in the United Kingdom. She wrote her Master's thesis on regional cultural variations in marketing within the American craft beer industry.

Gregory Grudzinski, Principle Analytic Consultant and Director of Insights and Analytics, Catapult Ecommerce, an affiliate of Epsilon (Westport)
At Catapult Ecommerce, Gregory helps CPG brands accelerate their growth through a deep understanding of online shopper behavior and digital technology. Prior to joining Catapult, Gregory was Director of Retail Customer Analytics for Information Resources, where he helped leading CPG brands partner with retailers in the food, drug and convenience channels to develop and implement customer-centric retail growth strategies. He also served as Senior Director of Retail Solutions for Fulcrum Analytics, an advanced analytics company based in New York City, where his clients included Frito-Lay, Kraft Foods, and Giant Eagle Supermarkets, and is a faculty member at the Path to Purchase Institute.

Michael Kalman, Chief Executive Officer, MediaCrossing Inc. (Stamford)
Michael Kalman is a media executive with a proven track record of building relationships and exceeding expectations. Prior to joining MediaCrossing, Michael was VP, Business Development at ICON International for 13 years. ICON is a specialized media financial company owned by Omnicom. At ICON Michael served PepsiCo, Bank of America, H&R Block, Hormel, Samsung, HP and many other consumer branded companies. Prior to joining ICON, Michael was co-founder of, a startup company and VP of Sales at Advantage Marketing.


May 2016Dr. Anca Micu is a marketing communications specialist with solid industry experience both full-time and as a consultant. She is an enthusiastic academic who has been teaching students for over a decade and has published research in top academic journals. Prior to her academic career, she worked for the BBDO advertising agency and since then collaborated with a number of organizations including The Estee Lauder Companies, The Advertising Research Foundation, Time Inc. and Millward Brown. She served as a marketing communications expert witness in a trial where the jury awarded plaintiffs $4 million.
