How the Center Works

As an integral component of the MBA program capstone course, the Center engages with not-for-profit organizations to address their business-related issues. Full-time MBA students form consulting teams that work with clients to provide insights, guidance and a recommended course of action. WCOB advisors, each with broad academic and business experience, counsel the team throughout the project. The project requires clearly defining the issue to be addressed, extensive research, personal interviews, a review of best practices and other tools relevant to the client’s need. The students present their findings and recommendations to clients and submit a final written report. Findings and recommendations may then be used however the client chooses.
