6th Year Certificates of Advanced Study are available in three areas:

• Advanced Studies in Administration
  ‌Designed for those interested in further study in Educational Administration and Leadership and for maintaining administrative certification. The 6^th Year Degree consists of an additional 15 credits beyond the Intermediate Administrator Certificate Program. Many students in this program continue on to doctoral studies.
   
• Advanced Studies in Literacy
  Prepares prospective literacy professionals to address the diverse needs of rapidly changing populations through dynamic coursework and rich experiences that integrate research-based theory with practical application.

• Advanced Studies in Teaching
  Flexible curriculum allowing the experienced classroom teacher to customize a program to fit their professional goals and interests. Areas of concentration include education technology, social studies, elementary math and elementary science.
