Farrington College of Education alumna, Billie Shea, was the 2014-15 award winner of the Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS) noteworthy William Cieslukowski First Year Principal award. This distinction is for those who demonstrate exemplary leadership, take risks and ‘rise to the occasion’ in the face of adversity. Ms. Shea is principal of Stanton Network Elementary School in Norwich, a turnaround school within a poverty district. She earned her MAT from SHU in 2004 and Sixth Year degree in administration in 2013. Congratulations, Ms. Shea!
