Exposure to and familiarity with diverse cultures is a key component of the lifelong commitment to intellectual inquiry and social justice that Sacred Heart challenges all of its students to embrace. For Honors students in particular, participation in the Study Abroad Program is a great way to add depth to their studies. Students may choose from a traditional semester-long opportunity, or an intensive month-long experience in May.
Honors Program in Dingle, Ireland
Starting in Spring 2014, we are very pleased to offer a new study abroad experience reserved only for Honors students. Two honors sections of CC103 (one in the natural sciences, one in the social/behavioral sciences) will give enrollees the option of going to Dingle, Ireland during Spring Break. As Sacred Heart expands its study abroad opportunities, CC103 honors students will be able to visit other countries during Spring Break.
What part soever you take upon you, play that as well as you can and make the best of it.
