Sacred Heart University, in collaboration with Guatemala’s Universidad Rafael Landívar, has won a $25,000 grant to debut a community-engaged student exchange among undergraduates in the health professions at both universities.

"Now SHU has become so fond of Dingle that it is purchasing the former Christian Brothers school in the town as a secondary campus, where it hopes to provide courses on tourism, marine science, sports marketing and history. SHU has also signed a memorandum of understanding with University College, Cork and the Institute of Technology (IT) Tralee to run new student and faculty exchange programmes. Sacred Heart and Seton Hall Law to Offer 3+3 Bachelor’s and J.D. Program

FAIRFIELD, Conn.—Sacred Heart and Seton Hall University School of Law are partnering on a new 3+3 program that will allow select students to earn a bachelor’s degree at Sacred Heart and a Juris Doctor at Seton Hall Law in six rather than the usual seven years. Students in this program will complete their undergraduate degree (in political science, global studies, history, sociology, English, criminal justice, foreign languages, psychology, chemistry or philosophy/theology/religious studies) in three years (90 credits). The remaining 30 undergraduate credits will be completed during the first year of law school at Seton Hall Law.
