All students registering for English classes must take a placement test. The results of the test will determine which level of class you will take. Placement tests can also be taken by non-students – for those adults that need to determine their English Language proficiency level for business or academic purposes. The results of your test will be e-mailed to you within two days.
Placement testing is available every week on our Fairfield campus. The placement test takes 1 1/2 hours to complete, and there is a $40 nonrefundable fee. Institutional TOEFL testing and placement tests available. Registration required.
To schedule a placement test, select a day and time below. Placement tests need to be taken 3 weeks before start of class. You will be emailed to confirm the date and time of your test. If you are unable to attend during the days/times below, you can schedule an individual appointment by calling 203-365-7528 or emailing douichm@sacredheart.edu.
You must make an appointment to take the placement test. Anyone attending a testing session without an appointment will be asked to schedule an appointment for another day.
