To Apply for the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology:
Deadline for admission to the graduate program in SLP is January 15.
SHU offers rolling admissions to SLP graduate applicants. Admissions offers will begin as early as February 1, and will continue through April 1. After that date, students who have been interviewed and placed on a waiting list may continue to receive offers of admission through the first day of classes in August. However, to take advantage of our rolling admissions policy, it is to your advantage to apply as early as possible. You can apply through the CSDCAS starting in September.
Applicants to the master’s degree in speech-language pathology will be required to submit GRE scores, 2 letters of recommendation from academic sources, and a personal statement.
- External Applicants (not currently enrolled at SHU): Please go to the Communication Science and Disorders Centralized Application Service https://portal.csdcas.org/ to apply. When applying through CSDCAS, please indicate code 7002 to have your GREs sent to Liaison International. GREs are recommended, not required.
- Current SHU Undergraduate Students ONLY: Please go to the SHU Graduate SLP application to apply. Fill out the account creation form then continue to the SLP application. Please note once you submit the SHU application, you will receive an email with a link to your student portal to submit your letters of recommendation and resume as well as a link for your SHU transcript request form. If you took courses outside of SHU, you need to request a second set of official transcripts be sent to the Office of Graduate Admissions. Your undergraduate file needs to remain intact, so you need to request another set of transcripts for your graduate file.
