Resident Position Description

  • Provide 24-30 hours of physical therapy services in University clinics and affiliates as assigned
  • Assist in entry-level physical therapy program instruction 6-10 hours/week or as assigned in role of laboratory instructor, tutorial leader, and/or clinical instructor in the Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy
  • Participate in Advanced Orthopaedic Physical Therapy course work offered by the Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy:  6 credits/semester for each of the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters\
  • Participate in weekly Clinical Mentorship, Case Conference and Journal Club
  • Participate in clinical scholarship activities of the Residency Program as determined by the Residency Program Director
  • Attend regular Residency Program meetings and department activities as requested
  • Other related activities as assigned
  • Complete probationary period of 3 months

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary for 12 month period, September 1 through August 31
