Career Opportunities

The outlook for occupational therapy employment is very good. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics includes occupational therapy as one of its fastest growing occupations, with registered occupational therapists predicted to have a faster than average growth (21- 36%). Both the American Hospital Association and the National Association for Health Care Recruitment are reporting shortages of occupational therapists and vacant positions nationwide.

The World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) website provides more information regarding the job outlook for occupational therapy.

The OTJobLink website provides a listing of currently available OT jobs across the country.
