Annemarie Murphy Ph.D.

Lecturer

Professor Murphy has  a practicing clinical psychologist for over 25 years before coming to work full-time at Sacred Heart University. She has worked in several  behavioral health agencies as a psychologist with a specialization in rehabilitation and neuropsychology. During that time she also taught psychology courses part-time at Sacred Heart University (for 14 years), Western Connecticut State University, and Walden University. Professor Murphy consulted with many agencies that specialize in community-based rehabilitation including the Kennedy Center, Goodwill, Employment Options, Department of Social Services, Workman's Compensation Rehabilitation Services and Department of Developmental Service.
