Accelerated Bachelor's-Master's Degree in Applied Psychology (MSAP)

Incoming freshmen with a strong high school academic performance and an expressed interest in Psychology are eligible to apply for our five-year program, which leads to the completion of both a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Master of Science in Applied Psychology (MSAP) degree in five years. Students must meet all graduate admissions criteria to be accepted into the program.

This accelerated on-campus graduate program prepares students to apply the science of human behavior to solve practical, real-world problems through a scientist-practitioner model. Students can choose a concentration in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Community Psychology or General Applied Psychology.

For more information on the BS/MS accelerated degree program, please contact Andrea Lamontagne in the Office of Graduate Admissions at 203-365-4748 or lamontagnea@sacredheart.edu.

Accelerated Bachelor's-Master's Degree in Public Health (MPH)

Sacred Heart University offers undergraduates the opportunity to complete an undergraduate degree and a Master of Public Health degree within 5 years. The ability to take advantage of the 3+2 option (3 years of undergraduate course work and 2 years of graduate course work) is available only to students who choose an undergraduate major in Psychology, Exercise Science or Health Science. Students choosing a 3+2 option must work carefully with their undergraduate advisor to follow a specific sequence of study. Please note that some summer work is required for this 3+2 option. With appropriate planning, summer course work may be completed at other universities offering equivalent courses.
