Medical schools require the following courses as part of the undergraduate preparation.
Concepts in Biology:
BI 111/113, BI 112/114
CH 151/153, CH 152/154
CH 221/223, CH 222/224
PY 111/113, PY 112/114 (a necessary prerequisite for physics is pre calculus)
PreCalculus MA 140 or higher
Some Schools Require:
Calculus MA 151
Cell Biology: BI 311
Genetics: BI 201/203
Systems Physiology: BI 312
UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH AND INTERNSHIPS
Undergraduate research in the sciences is strongly recommended. Internships at hospitals and clinics are also desirable.
