The Band Council is a student organization that provides support for the Band Program. We are the official representative body for the band. Our roles include fundraising, organizing trips, planning the Annual Band Banquet, recruiting, coordinating events during Pre-season camp, and much more. As a member of the University's Council of Clubs & Organizations, we also sponsor several campus wide events for SHU students and partake in community service.
Philosophy
The SHUBC is proud to promote the Band Program's tradition. We are here to share and maintain the enthusiasm, dedication and pride that the Band applies to everything we do. Because after all, it's nothin' but HEART!
