Keith Leonhardt is a CT based professional tap dancer and teaching artist who considers himself a disciple to the art of tap dancing. He has studied & danced with tap luminaries such as Clare O'Donnell, Dianne Walker, Ted Levy, Ayodele Casel, Jason Bernard, & Corey Hutchins. He is graduate of jazz vocal program at The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts and the jazz music program at The University of the Arts of Philadelphia, PA. His training and education has led him to a successful career in the dance industry. He was a proud member of the Connecticut based tap company ODN Tap and has represented the company at The Ted Hershey Dance Marathon & Jazz Tap Center’s Tradition in Tap & Big Apple Tap Festival in NYC. He has been seen as the first tap dancer performing at Foxwoods Resort Casino for multiple events and has made appearances on WWLP-22News & Mass Appeal. As a tap soloist he has been seen performing for the 23rd FOXWOODS Resort & Casino Anniversary, The Invisible City Project of Hartford, RAW Artists of NYC & Boston, Six Flags New England Entertainment, and CONNetic Dance. In 2015, Keith created SHED! a tap show which premiered at The Bijou Theater in Bridgeport, CT honoring the history of tap dance and bringing new light on to Connecticut's up and coming tap dancers. As a teaching artist, Keith is currently on faculty for Sacred Heart University's Dance Program, The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts, Performing Arts Center of Connecticut, and Dance 10 Performing Arts Center. He most recently taught for the 2016 NADAA (National Alliance for Dance and Affiliated Arts Conference). He is a guest judge for the 2017 Work it Dance Challenge Competition and Convention Tour. He is the founder and artistic director of the PACC Tap Company, a pre-professional tap company created to answer the needs of his students tap education. His students have gone off to professional careers in the entertainment industry being featured in dance catalogs such as "A Wish Come True" and print ads for clothing stores such as "Justice" and "Macy's". Keith is signed to the DFX Entertainment Talent label, Connecticut's premiere entertainment and production company.
