Anna received her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Vocal Performance from the University of Connecticut.
She is a trained opera singer and specializes in vocal technique and health and teaches through classical pedagogy.
At UConn, Anna studied under Dr. Sylvia McClain and was featured in several opera scenes programs and full productions including Bernstein’s Candide and Strauss’ Die Fledermaus.
Anna has performed around the world, most notably in Ireland at the Dublin Institute of Technology’s Conservatory of Music. Here, she participated in a cooperative opera program directed by Willie Anthony Waters and played several roles in a culminating opera scenes program.
She holds studios both privately and at the Fairfield School of Music where she teaches over 20 students. As the Assistant Director of the Norma Pfriem Children’s Choir, she has opened up opportunities for low-income families to benefit from vocal training and education.
In July 2015, Anna traveled to Gressier, Haiti with a group from UCC Bridgeport to teach music to the children of Haiti’s orphanages and daycare centers.
