Participants of the summer math immersion workshop are official members of the FCMTC. This group will meet six times during the academic year 2012-2013 to explore problem-solving and discuss pedagogy. The meetings will be held in the months of October, November, December, March, April and May. Each academic year meeting will be of approximately 90 minutes duration at the end of a school day. Middle school math teachers who were unable to attend the Summer 2012 Math Immersion workshop are also welcome to attend the academic year meetings. Refreshments will be provided at each meeting.
All sessions will be led by Sacred Heart University professors.
