Incoming freshmen with a strong high school academic performance and an expressed interest in Criminal Justice are eligible to join our five-year program, which leads to the completion of both a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Master of Arts (MA) degree in five years. Undergraduates can take up to 6 credits of graduate level courses in their senior year that can be applied to both degrees.
Our faculty are committed to personalizing your learning experience, which will be enhanced by exciting internship experiences and opportunities to engage in research. The Department has been progressive in its introduction of new areas of study such as National Security and Emergency Management. Graduates will have the opportunity to present their research at the national Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS) conference.
