Francesco Sardo, received his MSCIS from Sacred Heart University in December of 2008, and his BFA in Architectural Design from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, Massachusetts in 1999. His previous professional experience was as an architect/engineer on building projects in the metropolitan Boston area using CADD and 3D computer modeling. Since 2008, he has been working as an IT consultant for Xavier Berkeley. Xavier Berkeley is a strategic consulting and development firm which develops web applications, web sites, and specific marketing sites.

He is the recipient of the Outstanding Non-Thesis Master's Project Award in Computer Science and Information Technology award from SHU in 2009. Sardo joined the Sacred Heart University faculty in the fall of 2010. His teaching focus is on programming with primary regards to website design and game development. His professional interests include open-source software and cyber security.
