The BS in Biochemistry prepares students for careers requiring scientific knowledge, laboratory and critical thinking skills, and for graduate study in the molecular life sciences, medicine or health professions.  The BS in Biochemistry is recommended in place of the BS in Chemistry - Concentration in Biochemistry for all students enrolling after Fall 2017. 

The BS in Biochemistry requires completion of 58 major and supporting credits, described below.
