About SciTech 21

The Chemistry Department at Sacred Heart University offers a two-week summer science program for children, SciTech 21. For almost thirty years SciTech21, a non-profit program, has given students the opportunity to explore areas of science that wouldn’t normally be studied in a traditional classroom. Each project, demonstration and experiment has been carefully selected with safety in mind. The focus of each course is on “learning by doing” in a relaxed, noncompetitive atmosphere.

The program is held at Sacred Heart University on Park Avenue in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Students who will be entering kindergarten through ninth grades in the Fall of 2017 are eligible to apply. Students should have an overall interest and enthusiasm for science.
