Associate Professor

Jack de Graffenried, MFA, is an Assistant Professor of Art at Sacred Heart University and a member of the Society of Illustrators in New York City. Jack's professional illustration career has spanned a period over 18 years.

His client list includes NBC, Arts & Entertainment Cable Network, Showtime, Paramount Television, IBM,  Miller Brewery, John Deere, Burger King, Chase Manhattan Bank, Cambridge University Press and U.S. Postal Service (Unicover Corporation).

Jack also has exhibited in a number of nationally juried exhibitions including the Philadelphia Watercolor Society's “102nd  Anniversary International Exhibition of Works on Paper”, Millennium Arts Center, “3rd Inaugural Exhibit” in Washington, DC, Society Exhibition, “Illustration West 39”, Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, CA, The Phoenix Gallery's “National Juried Competition” New York City and “56th Annual Artists of the Northeast" at the Silvermine Gallery in New Canaan, CT.

Most recently Professor de Graffenried has had his work exhibited by the National Gallery and had a retrospective of his work displayed at the Society of Illustrators in New York City.
