Starbucks is one of the world leaders in the coffee industry; from their specialty drinks to their easy accessibility both online and in brick and mortar stores, customers flock to Starbucks. This study is based around the success of Starbucks Corp. and the success of its competitors, comparing the company to other superpowers like McDonald’s and their McCafé line, Nespresso, and Dunkin Donuts. The common factors analyzed about each company are their global reach, as well as global and local presence; profit growth; as well as their market share in each country. The study concludes with opportunities for future growth and implications for the future of Starbucks.
