Trial by Fire: Lives Re-Forged

News Story: February 14, 2018

The School of Communication & Media Arts and Vision Project will present a screening of Trial by Fire: Lives Re-forged on Wednesday, February 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the Martire Business & Communications Center Media Theater (E145). Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion with the film’s Executive Producer Bill Harris and Sacred Heart Professors Bronwyn Cross-Denny (social work), Richard Falco (School of Communication & Media Arts), June-Ann Greeley (theology and religious studies) and Christina Gunther (global health programs).

With heart and grace, Trial by Fire: Lives Re-forged celebrates the courage and strength of burn survivors as they reclaim their lives after the devastation of fire. The film follows the journeys of ordinary people who rise above their injuries to discover unexpected insights and a transformed worldview. Through extraordinary courage, grit, and determination, all re-forge their destinies by first embracing – and then achieving – new dreams.

This event is free and open to the public.
