At 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Ford will discuss his New York Times bestselling novel Canada in an interview with Roxanne Coady, owner of R.J. Julia Booksellers in Madison. "First, I'll tell about the robbery our parents committed. Then the murders, which happened later." So begins Canada, the unforgettable story of Dell Parsons, a young man who is spirited across the Montana border into Saskatchewan and taken in by an enigmatic man whose own past exists on the other side of the border. This talk is part of WSHU's 'Join the Conversation' lecture series.

Canada is Ford's first novel in nearly six years. He is also the author of the Bascombe novels, which include The Sportswriter and its sequels, Independence Day and The Lay of the Land.

This event will take place at the Fairfield Theater Company, 70 Sanford Street, Fairfield. To reserve your seat, click here.
