The Sacred Heart University community continues to mourn the passing of Will Cadogan. Will was a 19-year-old freshman in the Welch College of Business. He came to Sacred Heart from Sudbury, Massachusetts.
While in high school, Will was a member of the cross-country and track team. During high school, he spent part of a summer building a Habitat for Humanity house in Alamosa, Colorado, and planned to do community service work while at Sacred Heart. He especially enjoyed hiking, mountain climbing and skateboarding.
A memorial service for Will took place Thursday evening in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit with 700-800 in attendance. Speakers included Father Jerry Ryle, David Coppola, vice president for Strategic Planning & Administration, and President John Petillo. Photos from the service can be found here.
While Will is deeply missed, he will always remain a part of the Sacred Heart University community. We will share any funeral arrangements as soon as they are announced.
