WSHU's 'Join the Conversation' Presents Sunday Matinee's David Bouchier
Award-Winning Humorist and Sunday Matinée Host
WSHU invites you to “Join the Conversation” with popular humorist and Sunday Matinée Host David Bouchier on Sunday, September 25th, at 3:00 pm in University Commons. Bouchier's talk will be followed by a Q&A and book signing.
Nothing is too small or too vast to attract Bouchier’s attention—wine labels, yard sales, forgotten passwords, antique cars, distressed ducks, and the federal tax system—all of which find a place in PERIPHERAL VISION: Irregular Essays from Public Radio, his latest collection of unexpected observations and whimsical opinions. Bouchier’s wry sense of humor has made him a well-known and beloved public radio personality in the region. Every week he plucks a topic from the chaos of ordinary life and subjects it to his unique brand of ironic scrutiny.
Books will be available for purchase at the event, and the author is available to sign them. Seating is limited; please make your reservations at www.wshu.org. This event is free, but there is a suggested $5.00 donation at the door to benefit WSHU.
