Author Sloane Crosley will read from her latest collection of essays, How Did You Get This Number, another hilarious portrait of a young New Yorker whose best intentions often end in disaster.   It includes her solo trip to Portugal where she befriends a group of professional clowns, and a wedding in Alaska, where fellow bridesmaids festooned with “bear bells” produce a call to the wild that attracts a grizzly guest.  Crosley’s misadventures and whip-smart observations make her both witty and endearingly relatable.
