Colloquium: 9/11 Ten Years Later

Sacred Heart University will host a special Human Journey Colloquia Series event on Monday, September 12 at 3:30pm to bear witness to the 10th anniversary of the terror attacks of September 11, 2001. This event entitled “9/11 Ten Years Later: What Have We Learned and Where Are We Going?” will address the changes and transformations (both positive and negative) in American society, policy, culture, belief and ethics, media and law the events of 9/11 initiated and also discuss what kind of future such changes might suggest.
Panel members for the discussion will include: Dr. Alka Jauhari of the Department of Government and Politics, Dr. James Castonguay of the Department of Communication and Media Studies, Professor Stephane Kirven of the Department of Criminal Justice, Dr. June-Ann Greeley and Dr. Brian Stiltner of the Department of Theology and Religious Studies, and Dr. Amanda Moras of the Department of Sociology.
