WSHU Presents Bestselling Author and Playwright A. E. Hotchner

National Public Radio member station WSHU Public Radio will hold a special event featuring New York Times bestselling author A. E. Hotchner for a talk about his new book, Paul And Me: 53 Years of Adventures and Misadventures with My Pal, Paul Newman, on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at 7:30 pm, at the Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts in Fairfield, CT. This event is part of WSHU’s popular lecture series, “Join the Conversation,” which brings noted authors to the community for engaging, thought-provoking discussions. This event is free and open to the public; a book signing will follow his talk.

In his book, Hotchner gives an intimate account of his remarkable, enduring, fifty-three year friendship with Paul Newman. Join WSHU as he shares stories of travels across the globe with the Hollywood legend to jointly owning fishing boats to coping with the loss of Newman’s son to starting their charitable food company, Newman’s Own, which has given all of its $300 million of profits to charities. A. E. Hotchner is the author of many books and plays, including Papa Hemingway: A Personal Memoir, Sophia: Living and Loving, The Day I Fired Alan Ladd, and King Of The Hill: A Memoir. He lives in Westport, CT.
