Dr. Cima Sedigh's Documentary to be Screened at Film Festivals

The Bakhtiari Alphabet, a documentary film directed by Reza Ghadyani and Sacred Heart University Assistant Professor of Education Cima Sedigh Ed.D., will be screened at the Kent Film Festival (Kent, CT), the Boston International Film Festival (Boston, MA), the DocMiami International Film Festival (Doral, FL) and the New Hope Film Festival (New Hope, PA).

Set in the breathtaking Bakhtiari Mountains of west Iran, The Bakhtiari Alphabet documents the seasonal migration of the proud, ancient Bakhtiari tribe as they face challenges and celebrate daily triumphs, in their struggle to maintain their richly textured culture in the face of the 21st century encroachments on its practices and traditions.
