SHU to Host 'Voices from the Holocaust' on October 6

News Story: October 5, 2008

Fairfield, Connecticut – Sacred Heart University’s Center for Christian-Jewish Understanding and its Human Journey Colloquium Series will host Joanne Weiner Rudof on Monday, October 6, at 3:30 P.M. in University Commons. The archivist of Yale University’s Fortunoff Archives for Holocaust Testimony will present a narrative of the Holocaust in the words of those who experienced it and lead a discussion on the value of memory.

As the number of those who were victims of Nazi persecution continues to shrink, there is an urgency to hear their testimony in their own words in the ongoing effort “never to forget.” The program is free and open to the public.
