News Story: March 30, 2007

Sacred Heart University and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) will host a Career Action Day on Tuesday, March 20th. This unique, day-long event is designed to introduce students to career opportunities at WWE in a variety of fields, including marketing, finance, human resources, graphic design and others.

The day will kick-off with a “Company and Opportunity Overview” at 10:00 a.m. in the Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts. The presentation will be repeated at 11:00 a.m. Students will learn what it would be like to work at WWE and what types of career opportunities are available.

Following the opening session, two small group sessions will be led by WWE executives in University Commons from 12:30-1:30 p.m. and 1:45-2:45 p.m. The sessions will offer a more detailed overview of departmental opportunities at WWE, including corporate communications, consumer products & licensing, interactive technology, digital video production, and interactive design.

Students will have the opportunity to submit their resumes and meet directly with WWE recruiters in University Commons at 3:00-4:00 p.m.

Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Students from all majors are encouraged to attend. This event is only open to SHU students.
