Robin Roberts currently anchors ABC News’ Good Morning America.  Most recently, Ms. Roberts traveled to Africa with former President Bill Clinton to bring viewers a first-hand look at the devastating AIDS crisis in that part of the world.  She and the president visited many cities and villages in various regions of the continent.  At Good Morning America, Ms. Roberts has covered a wide array of special events for the morning program, and has interviewed newsmakers from Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton to Spike Lee and sports legends from Tiger Woods to Shaquille O’Neal for the program.

Ms. Roberts has contributed to Good Morning America since June 1995, and has worked in broadcasting for more than 20 years.  Other ABC assignments have included segments hosting Good Morning America Sunday and Prime Time.
